The doctors from the Pediatric Orthopedics Department serve also the Ambulatory Clinic.
Patients are triaged and admitted to the Pediatric Orthopedics Department.
The following are mandatory for consultations:
  • Schedule at least 24 hours in advance
  • Presentation of the Referral Ticket from the family doctor
  • Copy of birth certificate/ID card of the minor patient

  • Treatment of pediatric traumatic conditions: fractures, dislocations, sprains
  • Orthopedic-surgical treatment for congenital malformations of the locomotor system:
  • - congenital malformations of the locomotor system: congenital dislocation of the hip, congenital varus equine foot, multiple congenital arthrogryposis, congenital torticollis, congenital anomalies of the femur of the calf bones, congenital axial deviations, etc.
    - benign and malignant bone tumors
    - bone dystrophies
    - acquired diseases: Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, femoral epiphysiolysis, axial deviations of the spine (scoliosis, kyphosis)
    - surgery for axis deformations of the limbs.
    - infections: osteomyelitis, septic arthritis
  • Treatment of limb inequalities: epiphysiodesis, limb lengthening.
  • Diagnostic and interventional arthroscopy.
  • We are considering expanding the services of the department for the treatment and endoprosthesis of the patients with malignant tumors, as well as the treatment of spinal disorders (scoliosis, kyphosis, etc.).

    Sequelae of orthopedic and post-traumatic conditions: fractures, dislocations, sprains of the upper and lower limbs; congenital malformations (congenital dislocation of the hip, congenital crooked leg);
  • Vertebral static disorders: scoliosis, kyphosis, hyperlordosis, straight back;
  • Neurological conditions (central and peripheral motor neuron syndrome): sequelae after infantile cerebral palsy (hemiplegia/paresis, tetraplegia/paresis, araplegia/paresis); peripheral nerve paralysis/paresis;
  • Rheumatic diseases: inflammatory rheumatism (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, seronegative spondylarthritis, etc.); abarticular rheumatism: tendinitis, bursitis, fasciitis, myositis, etc.;
  • Physiotherapy.
